From September 5-8 our ELA team participated at the SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, Scotland.
This biennial conference and exhibition is one of the most important events for oil and gas production in Eu-rope, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. From ELA, three colleagues from our UK team, two colleagues from our Team International in Haren and three colleagues from ELA Offshore, were present.
The team presented the various onshore and offshore container solutions in a two-story exhibition container designed for trade fair appearances of this kind. The joint presence of the UK and Offshore team proved to be extremely profitable, as offshore customers with port locations often also require office, accommodation and storage solutions in the onshore area, and thus direct expert advice could be provided on both sides.
In this context, it became clear that the oil and gas industry as well as the renewable energy sector are not only interesting for ELA Offshore, but also for our onshore solutions. Especially in Norway and UK, but also in other countries.
Overall, SPE Offshore Europe leaves an extremely positive impression. It provided us with an excellent plat-form to present our services and explore new business opportunities. We are pleased that we were able to make valuable contacts, hold good discussions and establish promising connections during the trade fair, which we will now pursue further together with the entire team.
